Chapter 5: Unstoppable Force (Page 10)

I am getting a lot better at drawing turians and I feel good about myself. I also got a little cocky and used Kirby Krackles for Jacob's biotics.- we're going retro up in here.

I've been ruminating on the comic for the past week and coming to terms with the question "What am I doing?" I think I also came to the point of admitting that this is fan fiction (I know, I know - but it didn't dawn on me for some reason). I am actually quite intrigued by fan fiction and fan fiction culture. I think I'll delve into it a bit more because I've been struggling to come to a philosophical resolution of "Where exactly do I fit in and where am I going with this?" I definitely have a end point that I am working on and this isn't intended to be an evergreen story. This all started when I decided to venture in the direction of an original story-line, starting at Chapter 4. I'm slowly coming to grips with what I am looking to achieve with this and that is: "I am making a fan fiction graphic novel based in the Mass Effect universe and am releasing it as I complete each page, instead of quietly compiling it in secret for a big reveal." I don't really know how much longer I have on this planet and can honestly die at any moment. When that is the case, I don't want to die with my music still in me (plagiarism accusations of the person credited with this quote aside).

I am eternally grateful for you walking this journey with me and reading the story as it unravels. I'm having so much fun making this and it's the best way that I can show how much this game meant to me and still means to me.
